Information on government planned re-opening from 1st June 2020.
Dear parents / carers,
firstly on behalf of staff and governors can I say a huge thank you for all your lovely messages of support that we've had.
Special schools have been directed that we should risk assess opening to more pupils from 1st June if the Prime Minister believes his 5 key tests have been met at that point. We are completing this risk assessment with the support of the Local Authority and taking on board the various union advice. Governors and the Local Authority need to agree the risk assessment before we can have any more pupils on site.
Special schools are NOT expected to focus on particular year groups - we will therefore continue responding to individual needs matched to staff availability. We will be in contact with families again after next week.
I hope health and happiness is a strong feature of your half term.
