Term 2 - November 

Today we had some visitors at our Napier Miles site who work for Wilmott Dixon. Wilmott Dixon is a construction company who design and build sustainable housing. Six students took part in designing their own sustainable school including features like: 

Shammus is designing his sustainable school and included a pond, vegetable garden, bat house and lots of trees.

Danny was so proud of his 'music school' which also included a skateboard park area.

This visit will be followed up by the students having the opportunity to visit a local construction site so that they can actually see sustainable housing being built.
