Pupil Voice
Brightstowe School Council meets 6 times per year.
There is a representative and a deputy from each class; these are elected each September. Pupils who would like to be on the council must present their ideas and opinions to their class and say why they think they would be a good councillor. The class members can then vote for the person they would like to represent them.
Before each Council meeting each class has a meeting so that the class representative can talk about the issues that the class would like to discuss. Then afterwards, the minutes are shared with class groups so that everyone knows what was decided.
