Kingsweston enjoys a diverse school community. A majority of our pupils have been identified as having autism as a primary need; the vast majority have an additional and significant learning need. Whatever the profile of primary needs of our pupil population, communication in one form or another is a consistent priority for development across the whole cohort.  The aim of the following document is to provide everyone at Kingsweston with a shared language when discussing, assessing and supporting pupils’ communication.
